Engagement: Evatt and Quinn

Molly J. Evatt and James R. Quinn, both of Townville, S.C., are pleased to announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael A. Evatt of Seneca, S.C. and the late Kelly G. Evatt. She is a 2004 graduate of Walhalla High School, a 2005 graduate of Tri-County Technical College and is employed by S.K. Rogers D.M.D. Family Dentistry as a dental assistant and financial coordinator.

The groom-elect is the son of Randy L. and Cathy S. Quinn of Walhalla, S.C. He is a 2004 graduate of Walhalla High School and works construction for Greenville Mechanical.

The wedding is planned for June 6, 2009 at New Hope Baptist Church in Seneca.

Engagement: Lee and Phillips

Charles and Nancy Lee of Fair Play, S.C. and Wayne Sr. and Patricia Phillips of Ormond Beach, Fla. are pleased to announce the engagement of their children Amanda K. Lee to Wayne A. Phillips, both of Fair Play.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of West-Oak High School in Westminster, S.C. and is employed with Chapman Design Group in Anderson, S.C.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Seneca High School and earned a BA in business administration from the University of Central Florida in 2007. He is employed with Valspar Corp. as a territory manager.

The wedding is planned for October.

Wedding: McKinney and Sitton

Ashleigh Denise McKinney of Seneca, S.C. and Thomas Blake Sitton of Walhalla, S.C. were married on Jan. 10, 2009 at Ryan Nicholas Inn in Simpsonville, S.C. The officiant was the Rev. Chad A. Carroll.

The bride was given away by her father, Lance Pennell McKinney.

The bride is the daughter of Lance Pennell and Denise Pace McKinney of Seneca and the granddaughter of Lt. and Mrs. James Clarence Pace of Pickens, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pennell McKinney of Anderson, S.C. She is a graduate of Seneca High School and Clemson University with a BS in nursing.

The groom is the son of Thomas Edward and Roberta Henderson Sitton of Walhalla and the grandson of Ms. Louise Henderson, the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy Vaughn Sitton and the late Mr. William Lonnie Henderson, all of Hendersonville, N.C. He is a graduate of Oconee Christian Academy and attended Tri-County Technical College. He works security at Duke Energy.

Carmen Nichol McKinney, of Charlotte, N.C., sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Abigail Jean McKinney, sister of the bride, of Seneca; Chana Ashlan Skelton of Seneca; Jessica Leigh Medford of Westminster, S.C. and Erin Richardson Kelly of Chapin, S.C., all friends of the bride.

Father of the groom, Thomas Edward Sitton served as best man. Groomsmen were Bradley Thomas Sitton, of Walhalla, brother of the groom; Jason Andrew Skelton of Seneca; Justin Lee Hughes of Seneca and Robert Trent LeCroy of Walhalla, all friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Ryan Nicholas Inn.

After honeymooning in Mexico, the couple resides in Seneca.
