Wedding: Leesa Rene’ Seckel and Keithlyn Alan Blackwell
Leesa Rene’ Seckel and Keithlyn Alan Blackwell, both of Westminster, S.C., were married on June 14, 2008 at Biggerstaff Christian Retreat Center in Seneca, S.C. with Mr. Melvin Seckel officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Melvin and Nancy Seckel of Westminster. She is the granddaughter of the late Haskell and the late Betty Pitts of Westminster and the late Robert and the late Ruth Seckel of Clinton Township, Mich. She is a graduate of West-Oak High School and Tri-County Technical College with a Business Management degree and a Marketing certificate. She is a front desk clerk at Foxwood Hills Resort.
The groom is the son of the late Roger Blackwell of Westminster and Shirley Blackwell of Fair Play, S.C. He is the grandson of Jim and the late Pauline Beauchamp of Jacksonville, Fla. and Clare and the late Leon Blackwell of Westminster. He is employed with Ulbrich.
Kathy Tippett, of Westminster, the bride’s best friend, served as matron of honor. Flower girls were nieces Riley Dyar and Mercedes Gaines of Westminster.
Matt Poore, of Westminster, friend of the groom, served as best man. Jesse Seckel, nephew of the bride, of Royal Oak, Mich., served as ring bearer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Biggerstaff Christian Retreat Center.
After honeymooning in St. Augustine, Fla., the couple resides in Westminster.
