What’s new on the site? You will find many things are new. First is that we now give all our content free to registered users including our photo gallery Probably the most obvious will be the fact that only “registered users” are able to see all our local story information. We have also added many new features and will continue to add new others in the future.
Where do I find my favorite features from the paper? You will be able to find them under the same headers that we have previously used. We have put all local information in the headers across the top. Including, Willie, Local News, Sports, Arrests and Obituaries.
How do I access the local stories I like to read? Simply look under the header (News, Sports Opinion) relating to it.
Who can access the local content? Only register users can access “local” content.
How do I comment on a story I read? At the bottom of each story is a comment here box. Just type in it and click on submit comment bar at the bottom to submit your comment Remember you have to be a registered user to comment.
What information do I need to log in the first time to the new site? You will need a “login” name and “Password”. If you have already signed up through our old site you will receive this by e-mail when the new site is live. If you are a current subscriber to the paper and have not registered for your login information, please call our circulation desk to register. Your subscription will be verified and you will receive an e-mail back with your login and password.
Can I reset my password if I forget it? Yes just go under “Subscription Center” and click on Lost Password or click here, and follow the instructions. Note that you must be logged out to access this page because it is assumed that if you are logged in that you have your password.
Can I change my Password from the one given to me? Yes just go under “Subscription Center” and click on Update your information, and follow the instructions.
What if I don’t know my subscription number? You don’t need your subscription number we will send you your login and password directly to your e-mail. Please call our circulation team if you are already a subscriber and they will set up your new account. If you aren’t a subscriber, but would like to be, please click here.
Do I need to sign up again if I know my password from the old site? Yes, we are not able to transfer old passwords because they are encrypted internally.
I am having trouble even after I log in accessing everything? Check and see if your browser needs updating. If you are using an older version of a browser, all the functionality of the site may not work properly for you.
What membership options do you offer?

How long does a 1-day subscription last? A subscription lasts until 12:01am on the day after you purchased your subscription.
What happens at the end of my subscription? For the 1 month, 3 months, or 1 year subscription, your account will be charged for renewal when the term ends. For a one-day subscription, you will need to renew your subscription online or by calling us prior to expiration. If you do not do this before your account expires your account will not be active and you will need to register online to read Upstatetoday.co. For full details about renewals, please read the Terms and Conditions agreed to when purchasing online.
When I purchase online do I also get a copy of the paper delivered? All plans for 30 days or more include paper delivery to addresses inside our delivery area. If the address is outside our delivery area, only online access is included. For mailed delivery outside our area, click here to order a mailed subscription.
Where can I donate the printed copy if I don’t want to receive it? Under “Subscription Center” located at the top of our site you will see “donate paper” there you will have several choices to decide who to donate it to.
Do I get a tax deduction for that? Yes, all of your choices are nonprofits. Just fill out the field that says send me an e-mail and keep this for your records.
My husband and I want to have two separate accounts and logins. Can we do that? No the only way to have two separate logins and pass code’s is if there are two separate accounts.
Can I share my account with someone other than my spouse? No, we monitor our site and am notified when 3 or more people are on the site at the same time or in different locations. Offenders will be notified and asked to stop or their account will be revoked.
CALENDAR AND READER SUBMITTED EVENTS
Can I still submit an event, birth, engagement or wedding announcement, even without an account? Yes, we encourage all our readers to tell us what is going on in their lives, we will post it as soon as we are able to verify it so please leave your e-mail and phone number when submitting information to us.
Can I still leave a Willie Comment? Yes , just click under “Reader Submissions” at the top of the page and go to “Submit a Tell Willie” and you are still able to leave a Willie comment.
If I submit a Tell Willie do you know who I am? Tell Willie submissions are open to everyone so no login information is required. If you are logged in and submit a question to “Tell Willie” all your information will be removed before it is sent to us. You may rest assured that we have no way of knowing who you are. Please remember that we will not a print things in Willie that are Libelous or Slanderous about a person or business.
Can I import the Upstate Today Calendar in my phone or on my desktop computer? Yes just go to the bottom of the calendar in “Local Info” and there you will see a link to download it.
Do you still have a photo gallery on the site? Yes it is located at the top under Photo Gallery.
Can I order photos and have them printed and mailed to me? All our photos from now on will be free to our subscribers so feel free to download them and print them. If you need one of the older ones that are still under the paid site contact us and we will be glad to send you it for free.
ADVERTISEMENTS, CLASSIFIEDS, AND ONLINE AD OPPORTUNITIES
Can anyone with or without a subscription read the online classified ads? No only registered users have access to our classifieds online.
Must I have to have a subscription to list a classified ad on the new site? Yes, you must be a subscriber to submit a classified ad online. You may still submit it through our office if you are a non-subscriber.
How can I submit a classified ad? This has not changed. All you need to do is visit the Classified page on our site and click “Click here to buy an ad for print or online.”
