The Clemson Tigers football team endured its second day of full-pad workouts under 100-degree heat Wednesday. Coaches and trainers watched the drills with particular care to assure the safety of players and took extra precautions to see that players remained hydrated. At right, freshman safety Daniel Andrews takes a break for a welcomed drink. Clemson, rated among the top 10 in pre-season polls, opens its season in about three weeks with a inter-conference clash with Alabama at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
