Kimberly Williams

Kimberly Williams is the activity director at Benton Village Independent Living and Assisted Living in Seneca. She has been with the company for a year and holds a certificate in dementia training.

Williams started in the housekeeping department and has also served as a resident assistant and med tech. Each day she greets the residents, makes an announcement of the daily activities and plans events and follows the activities schedule with the residents. She enjoys spending her days with the residents and finding out their interests. Williams even takes the male residents out to Hooters for Gentlemen’s Night Out. When asked if they would like to go bowling or maybe golfing, they always want to go to Hooters.

Williams says the most rewarding part of her profession is the time she spends getting to know her residents.

“It’s very important for everyone on the staff to show the residents love,” she says. “We’re all one big family here.”
