What to watch for

Tuesday’s game will be the 159th meeting on the hardwood between the Palmetto State rivals. The Gamecocks own an 86-72 advantages in the series, but Clemson has won four straight under Purnell. The Tigers have won their last eight road games against non-conference opponents, which is a school-record streak. Clemson won earlier this season at Charlotte and at Illinois in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
