SENECA — After visiting the beautiful areas of Oconee County, owners of the new Pak Mail Center, at 1085 Old Clemson Highway in the Bloom Plaza, decided to pack their bags from Palm Beach, Fla., and establish a one-stop packing and shipping convenience store right here.
Owners, Scott and Beth Moore, worked as Palm Beach 911 dispatchers before opening the new Pak Mail store last fall. The couple held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening this week.
“We needed something new and different where we could work together, and you just can’t beat this area here, it’s so beautiful,” said Moore.
Pak Mail Centers of America Inc. is a rapidly growing national franchisor of packing, shipping and mail service convenience centers, with headquarters in Englewood, Col.
“We had a neighbor in Florida who also owned and operated a Pak Mail, so they are the ones who got the idea of this type of store in our heads,” said the Moores. “The initial support from Pak Mail and the community here was too good to be true.”
With Pak Mail offering residential and business consumers custom packaging on the ground, in the air, express and overnight, private mailbox rental, mail call-in and forwarding, package receiving, message service, packaging supplies, copies, lamination, fax messaging, business stationary and rubber stamps, notary public, and other related convenience services, the store is a sure one-stop spot for shipping needs.
“Unlike most shipping businesses, we ship furniture, cars, boats, and well, I guess we will ship anything, anywhere,” said Moore. “We love what we do, and we’re very happy to be here.”
