Nate Carver is a Lieutenant for the Westminster Fire Department and a volunteer for the Corinth Shiloh and Keowee Key Fire Departments.

Carver has been a volunteer firefighter since the age of 13. He started with his father who has been a volunteer firefighter for 47 years. He says most of his influence came from his father, as well as the desire to help people.

“I’m here to work for my community,” says Carver. “And I appreciate all the help from the guys around the county. I love doing my job, I love being a firefighter and I appreciate the opportunity Westminster has given me.”

The most rewarding thing to him is the thanks they get for what they have done.

In his spare time, he enjoys being with his wife, Robin, and playing with their three children, Natalie, 9, Chloe, 7, and Noah, 4.

Nate, thanks for all that you do. My family and I live within the city limits of Westminster and appreciate all the public service employees here and around the world. The job they do is dangerous but appreciated. Again, thanks and keep up the good work.
