SALEM — The Keowee area community will begin collecting school supplies for the Tamassee-Salem Schools next week.

Donations of pens, pencils, notebook paper, folders, glue sticks, tape, markers and composition books will be accepted at the Keowee Fire Station from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Those preferring to make a monetary donation may do so by making a check payable to Tamassee-Salem Schools, noting “Operation Back To School” on the memo line.

For more information, contact Lee Urove at (864) 944-8467.
