The Upstate Alliance, the regional economic development organization tasked with marketing and branding the 10 counties of the Upstate region on a global scale, has announced the addition of two interns, Bethel Mowrey and Elizabeth Flanigan.
Mowrey is a senior at Bob Jones University in Greenville, and is majoring in international business.
Flanigan is a sophomore at Furman University in Greenville, and is majoring in urban studies.
As part of their internship experience, Mowrey and Flanigan will assist the Upstate Alliance Research Manager, Jennifer Miller, on various research and marketing initiatives. Some of their responsibilities will include updating key organizational databases, inventorying community assets, preparing information for companies considering locating to the Upstate region, updating and customizing prospect presentations and materials and gathering and preparing data for studies and reports.
“It is wonderful to have these two dynamic individuals assisting our professional staff in marketing and branding the region. It truly is a team effort at the Alliance and we are thrilled to have both Bethel and Elizabeth on board this term,” stated Hal Johnson president/CEO of the Upstate Alliance.
