Clemson's Purnell to participate in Upstate Healthy Hoops Challenge

CLEMSON — Clemson basketball coach Oliver Purnell will be among the instructors this weekend at the Upstate Healthy Hoops Challenge, a one-day basketball camp designed to help children with asthma continue to stay active. The event will be held Saturday, May 10 in Greenville, S.C. at the Potential Sports Academy. There is no charge associated with the event.

Purnell will be joined by Southern Wesleyan’s LaCheryl Smith in leading basketball drills, while also providing tips to children (ages 7-15) who suffer from asthma.
