CENTRAL — Senior Tyron Louis to play next year at Southern Wesleyan University! Congratulations to Panther senior Tyron Louis who has committed to play college basketball next season at Southern Wesleyan University.
Southern Wesleyan is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and participates in the Southern States Athletic Conference.
Tyron is a two year varsity player for the Panthers. He played a big role in Dr. Phillips High School's 2006-07 run to the state championship game and was a starter for this season's 21-6 Panther squad averaging 7.3 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, and 1.5 steals per game.
A signing ceremony for Tyron was held on Monday during lunch in the DPHS media center. Congratulations to Tyron Louis on fulfilling your dream of playing college basketball. The Panther Nation is very proud of you.
