Keeping up a tradition that stems back to the days of the horse-drawn fire engines, the Keowee Fire Department’s paid and volunteer staff poses with truck 172 before pushing it into the new station off of Highway 130 at 115 Maintenance Road in Salem. The Keowee Fire Department is holding an open house for the public to tour the new headquarters from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
