Seneca authorities respond to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 123 By-pass Wednesday. John Crum of the Seneca Police Department reported that a silver Chevy Malibu, driven by Ruby Hedden, was turning onto 123 from Walnut Street when a Honda Sports Utility Vehicle traveling east on 123 ran a red light and struck the Malibu on the driver's side. Mary Sanders, the passenger of the Malibu, was taken by EMS to Oconee Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. Jennifer Thomas, the driver of the Honda, was cited for disregarding a red light.
