Clemson to host Wake Forest viewing party

October 7, 2008 - 12:05 a.m. EST

CLEMSON — The IPTAY Collegiate Club and Clemson Dining Services will host a viewing party for the Clemson vs. Wake Forest football game on Thursday at Littlejohn Coliseum. The event is open to the public and dinner will be served from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Dinner is $5 for the public and Clemson students eat free.

Harcombe Dining Hall will be closed that night and will serve dinner at Littlejohn instead. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. There will be contests and prizes. Clemson students will have the chance to win 10 lower deck tickets for the Clemson vs. South Carolina football game.

For every 10 cans of non-perishable food items that a Clemson student brings, they will be entered into the drawing for the tickets. The student must be present at the time of the drawing to win the tickets, and they will be student tickets only. Anyone can participate in the canned food drive, but only Clemson students have the chance to win the football tickets. The cans will be donated to Clemson Community Care.

The night will also include appearances by coaches from various Clemson sports, the Clemson Cheerleaders and Rally Cats. Be sure to come and cheer on the Tiger Football team against Wake Forest in Littlejohn!
