Salem United Methodist Church will be honoring the Children’s Sabbath by allowing the children of the church to lead services. Sunday school starts at 9:30 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m.

Salem United Methodist Church will host a special service at the Biggerstaff Retreat Center. Members will provide a continental breakfast with Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. There will be a lakeside worship service at 10:30 a.m. At noon BBQ catered to serve you. Seneca Presbyterian Church will be holding its 2nd annual outdoor worship service at South Cove Park beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a pork BBQ lunch. If you are able to stay for the picnic and games to follow, please call the church office at (864) 882-2505 by 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 to sign up. The cost is $10 per person or $20 per family. Please bring your own lawn chairs. Transportation will be provided from the church at 10 a.m. for those who need a ride.
