The Ozion WMS will observe Breast Cancer Awareness Day beginning at 11 a.m. Members and friends are reminded to wear pink. The church is at 650 Sitton Mill Road, Seneca.

Salem United Methodist Church will be honoring the Children’s Sabbath by allowing the children of the church to lead services. Sunday school starts at 9:30 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m.

“When money is tight, let divine Love help” will be the subject of a one-hour live interactive audio Internet chat that can be heard at the Christian Science Reading Room, 327 Main St., Seneca at 2 p.m. For more information, call (864) 882-6227 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays. Salem United Methodist Church will host a special service at the Biggerstaff Retreat Center. Members will provide a continental breakfast with Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. There will be a lakeside worship service at 10:30 a.m. At noon BBQ catered to serve you. Seneca Presbyterian Church will be holding its 2nd annual outdoor worship service at South Cove Park beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a pork BBQ lunch. If you are able to stay for the picnic and games to follow, please call the church office at (864) 882-2505 by 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 to sign up. The cost is $10 per person or $20 per family. Please bring your own lawn chairs. Transportation will be provided from the church at 10 a.m. for those who need a ride.
