Donna (Shirley) Perkins

Donna (Shirley) Perkins is the Patient Relations Coordinator at Oconee Medical Center. She is thrilled to be back in the work force after making the decision years ago to stay at home with her three children. She is a Seneca native and truly loves this area. It is her desire to see the hospital grow and improve.

Perkins is an advocate for the patients at the hospital handling issues both positive and negative. When she gets a complaint, her duty is to research the problem and get the information back to the patient. She wants them to know that they do have an avenue to express their needs and concerns. The favorite part of her job is visiting patients and offering them any assistance they may need. “My goal each day is to meet their needs, one patient at a time, in order to make a positive difference at Oconee Medical Center,” says Perkins.

Perkins is a graduate of Clemson University with a BA in Psychology and has worked as director of social services at Pinnacle Care, now known as Seneca Health and Rehabilitation, and case management at the Tribble Center.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Joel, and three children, Logan, Connor and Baileigh-Rose, who are active in football, baseball and cheerleading in the Clemson area.
