1. Win time of possession
This should be a game all about controlling the football, and Pendleton needs to keep the Warriors off the field as much as possible. West-Oak is admittedly not going to blow past anyone on offense, but its style of wearing down defenses with the run is dangerous enough. The Bulldogs need to get the ball back as fast as possible on each possession, and try to pull the same ball control trick when they're on offense.
2. Execute on offense
The Bulldogs were crisp offensively last week in the first half against Seneca, but faded away until the final drive of the night. As the game wore on, Pendleton found itself fatigued because of having to use so many players two ways, and there weren't a lot of fresh legs to turn to on offense. The Bulldogs will have to make sure to execute on offense, backups included, to stay sharp on the road again this week.
3. Win the kicking battle
With a pair of stingy defenses taking the field on Friday night, the game could come down to a battle of field possession. If that's the case, Pendleton has a good weapon in Zach Sears, who handles both the punting and placekicking duties. Besides one poor punt last week, Sears averaged nearly 40 yards per punt, and also hit the game-winning field goal. He has good distance on his field goals as well, and can connect on 50-yard attempts.
