The Rock Assembly of God invites you and your family for its Annual Family Gathering at Biggerstaff Retreat, off Hwy. 188 in Seneca from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. There will be free food, games and prizes for all ages. For more info, call Deanna at (864) 638-0145.

SUN., SEPT. 14

The Annual Parish Picnic for St. Paul, St. Andrew and St. Francis Catholic Churches will be held this Sunday, Sept. 14. Originally planned for the Outdoor Lab at Clemson, it will instead be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Seneca due to the large number of people attending. Mass will be held in the church at 2 p.m. Plentiful food, music and games will follow in the Church Hall and on the church grounds.

This promises to be a day of fun, good food and good fellowship.

Seneca River Missionary Baptist Association Young Women’s Auxiliary invites you to “Covered Under the Blood” at 4 p.m. in the Seneca River Family Life Center. Come and enjoy inspirational music and guest speakers. Ladies are asked to dress in red and men, please include something red in your attire.

Revival services will be held at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church in Walhalla beginning today at 6 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be Dr. Greg Mathis, senior pastor at Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, N.C. and Evangelism Professor at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute in Hendersonville. The church is on Hwy. 28, west of Walhalla. Everyone is invited and a nursery will be provided.

TUES., SEPT. 16

The Roy Knight Singers will perform at 7 p.m. at Bountyland Church of God, Hwy. 28, Seneca. Everyone is welcome.

THURS., SEPT. 18

The Ladies Ministry of Utica Baptist Church in Seneca will host its annual ladies’ hospitality dinner with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. Guest speaker will be Debbie Cannada from West Virginia. SAT., SEPT. 20

A medical expense benefit will be held for Pastor Hendrix at New Life Praise and Worship on Hwy. 76 beginning with a yard sale at 7 a.m. and an all-u-can-eat pancake breakfast. Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church on Oconee Station Road will be observing Homecoming beginning at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Dr. Paul Welch. Lunch will be available after the service. Everyone is invited.

Rock Hill Baptist Church will hold a revival today through Sept. 25 each night beginning at 7 p.m. There will be special music each night. The church is on Rock Hill Rd. off Hwy. 11 in Fair Play.

Long Creek Baptist Church will hold its revival today through Sept. 24 with Rev. Greg Marcus at 6 p.m. Sunday night and Rev. Tim Sheriff Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m. The church is on Academy Road in Long Creek. Everyone is welcome.

Parkway Baptist Church will hold its homecoming services with “Fortright” performing at 10 a.m. and worship services at 11 a.m. Rev. Jason Sluder will bring the morning message. A fellowship dinner will follow in the church fellowship hall. Everyone is invited.

The 2008 Winning Women Fellowship Conference will he held at PowerHouse Christian Church today through Sept. 28. Services begin at 7 p.m. with guest speakers, Dr. Marcia Bailey today and Minister LaShawn Chandler on Friday. A luncheon will be held on Saturday at noon at Boulevard Baptist Church of Anderson with guest speaker, Elder Kimberly Moore and guest host, Kisha Foster. Just Call Me Sarah Oconee County Family Conference 2008 will take place today and tomorrow at St. Peter Apostolic Missionary Baptist Church, 221 Thomas Heights Circle in Seneca. Workshops will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. with a continental breakfast from 9:15 a.m. – 9:50 a.m. and a lunch at the close of service. Today’s guest speaker, Pastor Annie T. Pickens, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Guest speakers for Saturday will be Pastors Gregory and Velinda Simmons. No registration fee. A love offering will be received.

The Zion Quartet will be singing at 6 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church on Oconee Station Road. Everyone is invited.
