Rhys Michael Sykes McLaughlin
Gavin and Jennifer Sykes McLaughlin, of Concord, Mass., proudly announce the birth of their son, Rhys Michael, on August 1, 2009 at 1:50 p.m. at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, Mass. Rhys weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, was 20 inches long and has blue eyes and blonde hair.
Rhys is welcomed by his paternal great-grandmother, Grace McGavin, and his paternal grandparents, Brett and Maureen McLaughlin, all of Seneca, S.C., his maternal great-grandparents, Richard and Cora Downing of Caro, Mich. and his maternal grandparents, Dee Offord of Oregon, and Mike and Rhonda Sykes of Vassar, Mich.
