CASHIERS, N.C. — The Tamassee-Salem High School boys’ basketball team poured on the offense in a 92-51 blowout victory against Blue Ridge (N.C.) on Monday night.
The Eagles (5-7) were led in scoring by Landon Garrett, who finished the night with 16 points. Joining him in double digits were Kain Richardson, Jeremy Talley, Ethan Priest and Sam Tilson.
Tamassee-Salem will leave the Palmetto State again tonight when it travels to take on Rabun Gap (Ga.).

CASHIERS, N.C. — The Tamassee-Salem High School girls’ basketball team never looked back after taking a 22-point lead into halftime, as the Eagles went on to a 42-20 victory at Blue Ridge (N.C.) on Monday night.
The Eagles (4-7) jumped out to a 27-5 lead by halftime and were led by Morgan Grogan, who led all scorers with 12 points on the night. Rachel Wilbanks added another eight points in the win.
Tamassee-Salem will take to the road again this evening to take on Rabun Gap (Ga.) The Eagles will then begin conference play on Friday at Dixie.
