GREENVILLE — After a two-run home from Brandon Burton gave the Walhalla American Legion Post 124 baseball an eighth-inning lead against Greenville, it still wasn’t enough, as Greenville rallied back for a 7-5 victory.
Walhalla (5-12) took a 5-3 lead on the home run, but Greenville hit a grand slam in the bottom of the frame to score the come-from-behind victory.
Walhalla starter Ben Keaton took the loss after pitching the full eight innings, while Jacob Jalbert went 2-of-5 at the plate with a pair of runs scored.
Walhalla will travel to Easley tonight at 7:30 p.m. its season finale.
