CLEMSON — Clemson fans now have the opportunity to get a closer look into the happenings of the Tiger basketball program by following Head Coach Oliver Purnell on Twitter.com.
Purnell recently launched his own page on the social networking site. His home page is www.twitter.com/CoachPurnell. Fans can receive instant updates from the Clemson coach on the Internet or via mobile phone.
Twitter is a free service that allows users to keep in touch with people through the exchange of quick answers to one simple question: "What are you doing?" Fans are encouraged to visit Coach Purnell's site to follow tweets as they are posted.
