Dr. Ryan Calhoun
Dr. Ryan Calhoun is a chiropractor at Calhoun Family Chiropractic in Clemson. Originally from Indiana, he received his undergraduate in human biology from Indiana University and his doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo. six years ago.
He became a chiropractor after watching his mother receive help from a chiropractor after having complications from back surgery. “It helped her to learn to walk again,” said Calhoun.
Calhoun says he spends his days saving lives and trying to restore health naturally without drugs and surgery, if possible.
What he enjoys most about what he does is seeing the patients’ lives transform. “When they don’t have the headaches, can walk and get out of the pain, they become better parents, better spouses and better grandparents,” he said.
Today through Friday, Calhoun will offer $20 first-time visits, a $240 value, with all proceeds going to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South Carolina.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy and their four children, Hanna, Clay, Avery and Reed, and volunteering at United Assembly in Seneca.
Calhoun Family Chiropractic is located at 1353 Tiger Blvd.
