— A 27-year-old Clayton, Ga. man has been arrested for felony DUI resulting in death after a June 20 accident killed 42-year-old Terry Ramey. Ramey died from multiple injuries sustained in an accident on Unity Church Road between Long Creek and Westminster at approximately 1:30 a.m.

Jeremy Shane Griffin was determined to be the driver of the vehicle, which ran off the road and ultimately flipped. Griffin was arrested Wednesday night, and has been charged with felony DUI resulting in death, driving with an open container, giving false information to law enforcement and possession of more than one driver’s license.

The arrest comes after South Carolina Highway Patrol’s multi-disciplinary accident investigation team (MAIT) unit was called to reconstruct the accident.
