Valerie Scott-Wagner is a neuromuscular therapist at Designs on the Boulevard Organic Hair & Skin Care in Seneca.
Scott-Wagner received her B.A. in Political Science from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and graduated second in her class from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Greenville.
Among her client base are athletes who competed in the 2008 Olympics and professional baseball players, as well as members of the men’s Olympic rowing team; she gets help from her husband, Steve, who is also a massage therapist.
Along with massage therapy, she also teaches yoga, core training and Pilates at Clemson University.

Organic health and wellness is a way of life for Scott-Wagner. “My husband and I both found what we’re passionate about it and are lucky to make a living out of it,” she says.
To add to her busy schedule, she also has a pet sitting business called upstatepetsitting.com. She has 12 “children” (all dogs) that live in the house that all are rescued. She is among the founding members of SC-ARF, a no-kill shelter at Fox Nest Veterinary Hospital.
