Editor:
On Oct. 24, the Clemson Child Development Center (CCDC) held its third annual “Mystery Night” fundraiser. We are pleased to report that the evening was a lot of fun and a big success. These activities are very important to the ongoing survival of CCDC, and if it were not for the generous financial and volunteer support of the Clemson community we would not be able to host events such as these. We thank the community for every single check that is sent to us and for every single hour that is volunteered.
Not many people are aware of the support that is shown by the local business community to organizations such as ours. With that in mind, we would like to single out and publicly thank the following local businesses for their generous contributions to CCDC: Palmetto Wine and Spirits in Seneca, Riviera, Pixie & Bill’s, Betty’s Hungry House, Soby’s in Greenville and the Bojangles, Wendy's and McDonald's in Clemson. Their ongoing contributions have been particularly appreciated during these tough financial times, and we are very grateful for it.
