LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Singer Bette Midler will end a nearly two-year concert run in Las Vegas this coming January, her representatives said on Thursday.
Midler's "The Showgirl Must Go On" began in February 2008 amid great media attention at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace hotel and casino, and it will end on January 31, 2010, after about 180 performances.
"What a fabulous two years this has been," Midler said in a statement, adding that she is ending her Las Vegas residency to record an album of love songs.
