Seneca Presbyterian Church will sponsor a SERRV international craft sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church on the corner of Oak St. and W.S. First St., Seneca. All proceeds will go directly to SERRV International.

“Prayer about cancer” is the subject of a one-hour live interactive audio internet chat at the Christian Science Reading Room, 327 Main St., Seneca at 2 p.m. Call (864) 882-6227 between noon-2 p.m. on Monday. All are welcome to attend and participate. This chat is being presented on www.spirituality.com.

THURS., NOV 5

Seneca Episcopal Church of the Ascension will hold its annual soup luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. $5 for all you can eat. Register for a $75 door prize.

SAT., NOV. 7

Mountain Rest Baptist Church, 9915 Highlands Hwy. (Hwy. 28), will hold a free giveaway from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. sponsored by SC WMU for those who need blood pressure checks, clothes, shoes, face painting, hot dogs, eye checks, linens, toys, refreshments and much more. All free. The Red Cross will be available with safety information and H1N1 tips. Enjoy fellowship and take home some goodies you need.

Seneca Episcopal Church of the Ascension will hold a Christmas Giving Fair in the fellowship hall. Twenty-five local charities will be present from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. to answer questions, explain their programs and receive donations, in addition to what they will receive from the church.

The Annual Christmas Bazaar for Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Clemson, across from the tennis courts, will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Handicapped parking is available in the back of the church. Handmade crafts, items from Haiti, gift baskets, silent auction items, baked goods, jellies, jams, frozen dinners to-go, and plants are available. Pictures with Santa can be taken from 10 a.m.-noon.
