Clemson volleyball to host Virginia, Virginia Tech

The Clemson volleyball team will play host to the Virginia Tech Hokies and Virginia Cavaliers today and Saturday, respectively. Both matches are slated to begin at 7 p.m. Saturday's match was originally scheduled for 6 p.m., but has been pushed back to accommodate fans who wish to attend after the football game.

Senior Lia Proctor had 22 kills and 10 digs and Sandra Adeleye had 19 kills and six blocks, but it wasn't enough to propel Clemson (20-8, 10-6 ACC) past the 15th-ranked Seminoles (24-2, 15-1 ACC). Florida State won, 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-19), extending their ACC winning streak to a school-best 12 games. Clemson return to action against Miami tonight at 6 p.m. in Jervey Gymnasium.

Clemson volleyball set for homestand

The Clemson volleyball team will ride a five-match winning streak into Jervey Gymnasium this weekend when they take on No. 15 Florida State and Miami. The Tigers (20-7, 10-5 ACC) and Seminoles (23-2, 14-1 ACC), ranked 3rd in the RPI, will square off at 7 p.m. tonight, while Clemson and Miami (15-10, 8-7 ACC) will play at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening.

Tigers' Adeleye earns ACC honor

The Clemson volleyball team will travel north for two matches in North Carolina this weekend. The Tigers (16-7, 6-5 ACC) will begin its second run through the ACC with the N.C. State Wolfpack (7-18, 0-10 ACC) on Friday night at 7 p.m. and the North Carolina Tar Heels (11-10, 7-3 ACC) at 4 p.m. on Halloween. At the midway point, the Tigers are in a three-way tie for fifth place in the conference.
