Betty Schlesinger Johnson, a former resident of Windermere, Fla. and widow of Theodore S. Johnson, died Tuesday, April 29 at Clemson Area Retirement Center, Clemson.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemson Downs Volunteers, 500 Downs Loop, Clemson, SC 29631.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Dr. William and Nell Mix Schlesinger, she was a former medical receptionist in Winter Garden, Fla., the former Postmistress for Windermere, Fla. and a graduate of Hathaway Brown Academy and the Connecticut College for Women.

Surviving are two sons C. Kenyon Revis-Wagner and wife Esther of Clemson and William Wagner and wife Martha of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
