DEATH NOTICE

Irene Spoon Harvey, 84, husband of Rev. William Clifton Harvey Sr., of 119 Iris Drive, died Friday, May 2 at Cottingham House.

A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Effie Sullivan Spoon. Mrs. Harvey was a pastor’s wife and a homemaker and had a love of gardening and baking. She was well known for her apple pies. Mrs. Harvey was a member of Rocky Fork Baptist Church and a member of Gideon International.
