Neil John McIntosh

WEST UNION, S.C. — Neil John McIntosh, 79, of 900 Doubloon St., passed away Monday, June 29 at Oakmont East Nursing Center in Greenville, S.C.

Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., Office of Development, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136-1494 or to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, Bingham Office Center, 30400 Telegraph Road, Suite 150, Bingham Farms, MI 48025.

Mr. McIntosh was born May 12, 1930 in Detroit, Mich., son of the late Edna F. Sarns and the late John A. McIntosh. He was retired from the Detroit Edison Company after 40 years of service where he worked as a lineman. Mr. McIntosh was a graduate of the Aero Mechanics High School in Detroit and also served in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Jakust McIntosh; daughters, Terri (Bill) Graham and Laura (Scott) Belue; daughter-in-law, Trish McIntosh and grandchildren, Lyndsay (Matt) Paruch, Kristin McIntosh, Alec Shick, Logan Shick, Kelci Belue, Amanda Belue and Cheyenne Belue. He was also blessed with two great-grandsons, Jeffrey McIntosh Paruch and William Dale Childers.

Mr. McIntosh was preceded in death by his son, Dale John and daughter, Linda and will return home to Michigan for eternal rest.
