WALHALLA, S.C. — Eva Nell Brown, 71, of 326 North Pine St., died Thursday, July 2 at Oconee Medical Center in Seneca.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5 from First Baptist Church in Walhalla with burial to follow in West View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service. The family is at the residence. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Walhalla, 403 East Main St., Walhalla, SC 29691.

A native of Westminster, S.C., Ms. Brown was the daughter of the late William Robert Carter and the late Inez Taylor Carter Holland. She was retired from Jantzen of Seneca and was a member of Mount Pleasant Church in Westminster. She attended First Baptist Church in Walhalla.

Mrs. Brown is survived by sons, Jimmy Brown and his wife, Zina of Seneca and Cale Brown of Walhalla; daughters, Mirenda Brown and Joy Brown, both of Walhalla; brother, Hershell Carter of Westminster; sisters, Rhetha Grice and Vada Smith, both of Westminster and Florene Nealy of Newport News, Va. and six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by brother, Eugene Carter and sister, Mildred Miller.
