Herbert ‘Peady’ Byers Jr.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Herbert “Peady” Byers Jr., 63, of 16 Anchorage Drive, died on Monday, Oct. 26 at his home.

Funeral services will held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2 at Adams Mortuary Chapel, 500 E. South 1st St., Seneca, with burial in Oakgrove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1 at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, 1011 Augusta St., Greenville.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Herbert Byers Sr. and Nellie Lone Byers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivor include sisters, Nellie Fuller of Greenville and Minnie Louise Galloway of Anderson, S.C. and brothers, Alonzo Byers of Charleston S.C. and Luther (Shirley) Byers of Walhalla.
