As a part of WordBRIDGE, Daniel Stein will perform his one-man mime movement work "Timepiece," a work that deals with the passage of time in the life of a man and how conflict and power and subsequently joy and love emerge from time's progression.

A giant pig representing wasteful pork barrel spending was on display in the Seneca area Tuesday. The South Carolina Club for Growth’s (SCCG) visual demonstration was accompanied by a caricature of a fictitious politician, Sen. Gimm E. DeBacon III, played by Prioleau Alexander, a SCCG volunteer.

The club meets at 10:30 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at Shaver Rec Center. Meetings, to which new members are welcome, include guest speakers,shared potluck and a time for members to socialize. The club also donates to local charities.
