Can’t do it alone - Clemson Parks and Rec Director Steve Figueroa, shown with family members at the recent dedication of a new baseball field in his honor, said he is equally proud that another baseball field at the park was named in honor of Dave Geer, supervisor of facilities and operations, as well as a softball field in honor of Glenda Stone, office manager. Figueroa said the three have “formed a very good team together” that has grown over the years and likens the honor to being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. “The Hall mates you go in with is what makes it really special,” Figueroa said.
