Eric is an award-winning writer who has been with the Daily Journal/Messenger since August 2007. He primarily covers athletics at the area high schools while also occasionally covering Clemson athletics.

He is a 2002 graduate of Daniel High School and a 2007 graduate of Clemson University, where he served in various capacities with the Tiger student newspaper from 2005-2007, including Sports Editor.
