Scott began his newspaper career in 1985 with the St. Petersburg Times as an assistant district manager, working his way up to an Area Manager in the Tampa operational area. From 1995- 2000 Scott managed Commercial Deliveries of products in NJ and SC. In 2004 Scott joined Eagle Media as Circulation Director for the Daily Journal / Daily Messenger. Scott also is responsible for the delivery of the Golden Corner Shopper and Upstate Lake Living magazine. For Scott, 'the daily challenges that come along keep the circulation enjoyable'.

Scott lives in Simpsonville with his wife, Kimberly, and their three children. He enjoys coaching and watching their son's baseball and hockey games.
