Steven is an award-winning sportswriter and the Assistant Sports Editor for The Daily Journal/Messenger. He won first place for Spots Sports Story in all daily papers with circulations of less than 26,000 at the 2007 South Carolina Press Association awards. Steven has worked for The Daily Journal/Messenger since the fall of 2004, after graduating from Clemson University with a BA in English that summer.
