I have sixteen years of training and experience as a former law enforcement officer who taught other officers the rules of engagement, and I am a veteran of the armed forces. Further, I returned from recent OIF service in western Iraq as an investigator with the Defense Department; however, I am not allowed to carry a concealed weapon on campus as a student. Is there any sense in such a restriction?
