"I have seen people in Anderson brought in an ambulance and put in wheelchairs for long waits, but at least at Oconee you aren’t put in a waiting room if you come in an ambulance."
I beg to differ, my daughter was in a car accident, was taken to Oconee by ambulance, and guess where they put her, in the waiting room. After the doctor released her, it took an hour of my badgering to get them to get her paperwork together so we could leave.
Personally, I've only been to the emergency room twice, the first time they took me right in, I guess they didn't appreciate my vomiting in their waiting room. The second time, they kept me in emergency for 12 hours because they didn't have a room to admit me, my insurance didn't kick in until I was admitted for 24 hours, I was released at 1pm the following day, the 12 hours in the emergency room didn't count. Thank you Oconee and your $500 an hour doctors.
Forgot to mention, they gave me 2 tylenol, I accidentally dropped one on the floor, the nurse picked it up, threw it in the trash and refused to give me another one.
Btw, I reread and this has been more a discussion about David's character and I don't see any disparaging remarks about Wendoli whatsoever. Maybe you feel like this discussion is all about the perpetrator and none about the victim, I can understand that frustration, the victim is being treated as immaterial, when the focus should be on her.
Dixie, I understand your high emotions over this one case since you knew the girl and obviously cared a great deal about her. I apologize for being inconsiderate of your feelings but you can't expect the rest of us to have the same deep feelings about this. We care that this woman was murdered just as we care about all women who are murdered in the name of love, we didn't know her so it's not the same overwhelming feeling as you have. Therein lies the problem, you're angry or frustrated because you want us to feel just as emotional as you and it's just not there for us.
I applaud you for your efforts and contributions for abused women.
Dixie, you can get off your high horse now, you only care because you knew the girl, do you care as much about all the other women that are abused and murdered by their boyfriends/husbands? Where's your righteous indignation on other articles about domestic violence? How much time and money have you donated to a woman's shelter, how many times have you opened your home to be a safe house? Those are the questions you need to ask yourself before you start chastising others.
"I can only hope that you two perfect human beings who have never done ANYTHING wrong receive the judgment one day that you spew on these boards."
Are you implying that murder is just doing something wrong? There's a BIG BIG difference between doing something wrong and murdering someone. Society has an obligation to judge others that's how we set our morals and maintain a civilized society.

On Criticism of Graham may get worse, expert says
openup, I value your opinion on Jim DeMint, if you're against him that means he must be good. LOL He's got my vote.
