That just goes to show you what our Country's priorities are...and it's sad...Where are all those patriotic people that were waving their flags after 9/11. Yes, please let the NAACP keep dictating where sporting events are held in South Carolina. WHAT A JOKE!! Some people need to grow a pair and tell them their boycott is BS! I could care less whether the flag flies or not, but it is a piece of SC history whether they like it or not. Taking down the flag doesn't change the course of history. Get over it! This was some of the worse baseketball I've seen in some time. I could build a house, no a mansion with all the bricks I saw Clemson throw up last night. But you people are fooling yourselves if you think these "goth" people don't have issues. Do you think any employer would give someone who looks like that the time of day. How bout growing up and cleaning up and becoming a respectable member of society.
Jenn-From my own personal experience (which is all I can base my "opinion" on) every teenager I've ever met that has the "goth" look is a trouble maker. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of trouble makers running around in abercombie and hollister as well. But a kid dressed in all black usually has some bigger issues going on than just the color of their clothes. As for you eematak, "That's what old fogies said about Elvis" I'm 26, so I'd hardly say I'm an "old fogie." But I know what I see standing outside the movie theaters these days and it isn't the innocent American youth that used to be there 10 years ago. This country is on a rapid moral decline and people with your "one bad apple" attitude are the ones that are too naive to see what's probably right under your own nose. Believe me there are alot more bad apples out there today than there are good. Just watch the news or read the newspaper if you don't believe me.
Do parents really think their kids are headed down the right path when they look like these three hoodlums. Parents need to quit being so lazy when it comes to raising children. Some say it's letting them "have their own identity." That's a load of BS. You have to guide a child into their own identity or otherwise they turn into whatever they see on TV. If these kids had a curfew and their parents knew where they were and what they were doing they probably wouldn't have been tippin over headstones. There are some good kids out there these days, but the overall state of Americas youth is a sad situation. That's what happens when we let media outlets raise our children and teach them that whatever they want to do is 'ok' in our liberal "feel good" society.
