I am going to go ahead and precede any questions from the community, "How does this guy continue to remain in the community?", with, "Contact your local Solicitor/Public Defender Office". I'm sure that history they ran shows more drug and other assaultive offenses and also Probation.
bitnessman...I am also going to start a book that is called..."The Faces of Meth in Oconee County that are Still Walking Around in the Community". The backgrounds of these two people are pages long w/ multiple drug offenses, Probation, and...wait for it...SHE IS ON PROBATION RIGHT NOW!!!
doglover1955...if something actually does happen to them when the Solicitor's office (Public Defender) takes them to Court then that is when you should change your name!!!
They will get Probation and do no time!!! Just have the Tenth Circuit set the bond near zero and go ahead and let them out and quit delaying the inevitable!
It is going to be hard to protect the victim when the Solicitor's Office protects these worthless individuals and continually lets more like them out to walk the streets.
Did anyone expect anything different or more severe? With this judge and this Solicitor's office this is no surprise. The defendant clearly had two forms of representation on her behalf, Rosemond & Adams. I thought the Solicitor was supposed to PROSECUTE, not represent criminals!!! When is the community going to stand up and say something!!!
Is this something that Barrett actually stands for or is this something else that he is only using to get re-elected in the future and then abandon immediately again?
There was a comment the other day made by someone along the lines of the ones that want zoning so bad are the ones that moved down here and are pushing the county to become more like the places that these people have left, so if that's the case then why don't these people favoring zoning just move back to where they came from. These zoning people want so desperately to live in a "neighborhood" but w/ all these rules, regulations, committees, and other neighborhood watchdogs monitoring what goes on in everybody else's life, they don't live in a true neighborhood, b/c a true neighborhood is where everyone gets along and issues are discussed instead of approved or declined. These "zoners" can stay in their neighborhoods if they choose to, actually I would prefer that, b/c I would never work so hard to control what someone else does in or around their own property. They must have nothing better to do.
This whole "law enforcement" debate needs to end sooner or later...w/ emphasis on sooner. All the people that are replying to these articles are responding and talking in anger, w/c is the worst way to respond to something b/c anger makes people say things they don't mean b/c they can't control their tongue due to the anger. Another point I would like to make is that bashing one officer, deputy, agent, employee, etc...gives ALL the other law enforcement officials a bad name. Please don't let one opinion spoil the views of many others.
