On Questions for a rainy day

Oh yea, and I agree with Summer07. I actually think every parent should be certified in First Aid and CPR. In fact, I think every NEW parent should go through the classes before bringing a newborn home just like the parents with babies in NICU are required to do.

On Questions for a rainy day

To all those concerned about emergency care at the Rec, much bantering could have been prevented by just picking up the phone and calling the Rec to inquire if they do indeed have folks certified in emergency care. And just a mere block away, you have Squad 91, which is the city's 24 hr/day, 7 days a week, paid emergency response.

Regarding the young fellow who dislocated his elbow, he did exactly what he was suppose to--he kept his arm in the position of comfort and sought medical attention. Shock was never an issue and I can't say I've ever seen anyone go into shock after a dislocation.

Whatever your view, let's play ball!!

The side of the face is considered part of the head and red marks would be easily visible there. And if you look closely, red marks can be seen on the scalp when you move the hair.

On Couple stopped while rushing to emergency room

clem73son, that would be a HIPAA violation unless Mrs. Alexander signed to allow Ms. Sibley access to that information. And I'm guessing she would not allow that.

On Couple stopped while rushing to emergency room

I completely agree with Nooie. And also, thank goodness these people didn't lose control of their vehicle and hit someone else being that they have no tags or insurance. I understand they felt they had an emergency, but why not ask the friends that normally help them get around to bring them? Bottom line is, you break the law, you pay the consequences regardless of the reason. With the economy so bad, should be just ignore when someone steals to support their family? I think not!
