With the economy the way it is, I agree with Mr. Poston. We should spend all of our money and efforts on the education of the students, not where they get this education.

You were never truly a Christian or you would still be one. Once you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, He never leaves nor forsakes you. And there is not a church nor churchgoer (no matter how nasty or mean), that could ever take that from me. God is never cruel nor mean. That would be the Devil, my dear, and an education is not needed to figure this out, although, I am for the best education that we can give our children and grandchildren.

If I didn't want to live by city codes, then I would purchase a home elsewhere. I agree that we don't have the right to decide on a business owners personal rights, either, but I do think that we have to have a code that isn't hard to look at, either. Just another opinion, you know. Doesn't make me right or wrong, just opinionated. Paint them all pink and purple.........I'll deal with it.

As a city home owner, who pays my part of the taxes, (you can bet on that), I have expressed my opinion. If we do not keep our main street business store fronts looking nice, then our beautiful little town will lose business. I have passed through towns that did not keep up a good appearance, and just kept driving. Don't pretend that it doesn't matter, because it does. I want our town to prosper, and hope that that is what we all want, but I am allowed to have an opinion. Or maybe you are the only one who could possible be correct. Thank you.

I agree with oconeegirl..........don't worry about the sign. The city needs to have an ordinance to stop anyone from using that hideous, neon blue paint. It is an eyesore. Wrong shade of blue, even for Alltel.

Why do they feel the need to say that they lived in an upscale Seneca home? When Chavez killed last week, they also commented that they lived in a small yellow house. What is the reason for telling this? This is not related to the news.

On Police identify, capture theft suspects

Catch them all. My boyfriend had his garage robbed of about $3,000.00 to $4,000.00 worth of tools and other things, and nothing had been done yet. He even informed them of where the stolen items were(a so-called friend told him), and they still haven't done anything. It has been about a month or longer. This ex-friend received some of the goods. He returned them, and still no arrests. This makes no sense. They know all of the theives who were involved, too.
