Maybe if we quit trying so hard to make inmates "comfortable" they'll get their act together and quit "checking in" to the local free motel. I know we can't be cruel but I'd say pack em in there, turn the air/heat off, give em 2 meals a day, water to drink and put them out picking up litter. Maybe that way they'll think twice before getting into trouble.
Shell5, I'm so thankful the devil has never worked his way into your life. I'm so thankful you have never TRULY suffered from an addiction or an obsession. Maybe then you would understand how weak the flesh is. Calling names doesn't help either. Let's just pray that Danny gets the help he needs and his family gets the support they need. We love the Long family and will always support them! Just pray for them please.
What bothers me most is that only 4% of blacks voted for McCain but so many of these same people said they wouldn't vote based on race; I say, "Yeah, right". Half of them don't even know his policies or beliefs; but they do know he's got a little black in him.
At one time the Seneca Theatre was a good one. There were very few problems and if one came up they were solved promptly. Sounds like this manager is just making excuses. I'll continue to go to Anderson or Georgia for my movie watching.
I agree with you all. Heaven forbid we put our kids under a little pressure. Maybe this is a way to teach our kids that they will face deadlines in life. Lots of jobs work under pressure and you need to practice time management. A lot of things wouldn't get done if not for time restraints. There are more things to worry about in our schools.
I wonder how many times those Seneca employees got a funny redneck or George Bush or Hillary Clinton email & forwarded it on & no one blinked an eye. We are going to see a lot of this nonsense now that Obama has been elected to the office of President.
