Wow. It amazes me how people can get so cynical over things. It is a freaking contest people. It is NOT suppose to be easy! I know, why don't you just send them your address and have them mail you a gas card! That would be easier, right? If you don't want to play, then don't. If you do, then do knowing you may or may not find "the needle in the haystack". Sheesh...
Way to go!! We are moving out to this area soon and it's sad to hear this is happening in this area but in today's society it is everywhere. Great to know that one by one they are being taken down. I agree with "bellabo" that our system is seriously broken. The time behind bars is very much too little relative to the time/effort taken to get them there. And as far as the 18 year old being involved and who got him involved, etc. He's 18. The only person to get him involved was himself. He made this decision and now he needs to decide where he wants the rest of his life to take him.
I couldn't agree more. The bridge repair is deplorable. The bridge itself is fairly smooth but the vehicle-suspension killing dip you have to go through to get ON the bridge is embarassing.
You would think the DOT would take more pride in their work than they do.
I'm not a skateboarder but it is a shame that we spend time and money on signs and ordinances when we could have built a park years ago. Why is it these parks are in cities across the country, and I assume have some system in place to address liability, but we can't see to grasp it? Is it just me or does our city/county do a very poor job of benchmarking other cities/counties when it comes to bettering our home?
