Haley Sanborn, a 3rd grade student at Westminster Elementary led the Pledge of Allegiance to open Tuesday's SDOC Board of Trustees Regular Session. The District recognized the donation of Band Tuxedos to Tamassee-Salem Middle/High School by Mr. Williams. A group of Nursing students from Clemson University shared results from a research project they conducted at Walhalla Middle School on tobacco product use. Sheila Grant of the Hamilton Career Center received an award for SC New Career and Technology Instructor of the Year and an award for Outstanding New Career and Technical Teacher. Following public comment, the Board approved several action items on Policy matters.
